Recurring Tasks
Tasks that schedule a new instance of themselves when completed.
Recurring Tasks generate a new version of themselves when completed, according to the recurring frequency on the task.
Creating a recurring task
Works just like creating any other task, except clicking the Make Recurring checkbox and filling out the subsections, Frequency And Allowed days to schedule task.
Frequency
LabBelay measures frequency in days, but the dropdown menu allows you to select common preset amounts (Daily, Weekly, Bi-Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-Annual, and Annual) along with a Custom frequency that lets you select any number of days.
Allowed days to schedule task
Select the days the next instance is allowed to be scheduled. LabBelay will not schedule a task for days it is not allowed to be scheduled for.
Beaker AI
Beaker can report on your recurring task schedule:
"What recurring tasks are assigned to me?"
"How often is the fume hood certification task scheduled?"
"Show me all recurring tasks linked to lab equipment."
